Hailing from the Netherlands the Dutch duo better known as Vicetone (Ruben Den Boer and Victor Pool) took the stage just after midnight at Ascend Night Club on November 19th. The 23 year old DJ/Producer team preformed to a packed house who welcomed them with lots of cheers and drinks held high in the air. My first time seeing Vicetone, I was totally pumped and I had heard such great things about the duo I was ready to dance! You haven’t heard of them yet? Don’t worry, you will. They have remixed the Hardwell and Tiesto song Colors which drops December 4th 2015. They also made the top 100 list of Djs, so you will be seeing and hearing much more of them in 2016!
The Progressive / electro house duo did not disappoint. They kept the crowd dancing and singing along night with original hits as well as with mixes that included artists such as CashCash (who played the House of Blues Boston a week prior with along with Tritonal on November 13th) and Empire Of The Sun. A crowd favorite came towards the end of their set and had everyone humming along when they played ‘Seven Nation Army’ by the white stripes.
